Scout Puppet Module

Note: This is the older cron-based Scout agent. Most likely, you are looking for the new daemonized Scout agent (scoutd).

Installs the agent for Scout, a hosted server monitoring service. This Puppet Module:

  • Installs the Scout Ruby gem
  • Configures a Cron job to run the monitoring agent
