Overview
This module manages the ISC DHCP daemon.
Module Description
This module installs and runs the ISC DHCP daemon. This module
configures the daemon by building up the dhcpd.conf
file with via defined
resources.
Setup
What dhcpd affects
The dhcpd module will install the appropriate packages for RedHat and Debian distributions. Furthermore, it constructs the configuration files required for the daemon according to corresponding resources. It also controls the execution of the appropriate daemon services.
Setup Requirements
This module requires the puppetlabs/stdlib and puppetlabs/concat modules.
Beginning with dhcpd
Simply including this module will install and execute the dhcpd service on your host, however it will not be functional without a subnet definition.
